Garden Party Cocktails

You’ve saved the date, invited all your friends, and dusted down the BBQ, so now it’s time to channel your inner Tom Cruise and shake up some delicious cocktails for your guests to enjoy.  We’ve rounded up 5 of our favourites that will taste amazing, but are super easy to make…

Raspberry Rizzle

Puree raspberries with a hand blender, setting a few aside to serve.  Pour into a cocktail glass and add 1 part each of white rum, and Chambored, 3 parts apple juice and crushed ice.  To make a non alcoholic version, simply replace the rum and Chambord with Cranberry and Raspberry juice.

Sunset Burst

Pour 1 part white rum and 1 part vodka to 3 parts lemon juice into a glass filled with crushed ice.  Stir in a pinch of sugar and a splash of grenadine, then add a few slices of fresh mango to serve.

Mint Madness

Put a handful of crushed ice into a tumbler, add 1 part white rum, 1 part lime juice and top up with sparking water.

Peachy Fizz

Puree fresh or canned peaches with a hand blender and spoon into a fluted glass until it’s one third full.  Then simply top up with Prosecco, or substitute with lemonade for a booze-free version.

Jack Sparrow

Fill a third of a glass with ice and equal parts vodka and coffee liqueur.  Top with single cream, crushed ice and sprinkle of nutmeg.
